As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Studio Leadership with financial analysis and reporting, providing insights that support decision‑making and helping the organisation achieve its goals. You will be the main point of contact for external accountants, payroll provider and tax advisors. You will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong modelling and problem‑solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external providers on payroll, accounting, and tax compliance matters.
- Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including bookkeeping, AP processing and vendor payments.
- Manage administrative finance requirements such as VAT filing and VGTR tracking.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and internal policies.
- Support month‑end closing activities and statutory reporting in collaboration with external accountants.
- Prepare and review monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and scenario modelling.
- Analyse revenue recognition, projects P&L, and key performance indicators.
- Provide financial insights and actionable recommendations to support decision‑making.
Process Improvement
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance finance processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in group‑level initiatives to strengthen workflows, automation, and the adoption of AI‑driven tools.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance / Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance or FP&A; experience in Audit or Transaction Services is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial controlling, and UK tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel modelling; experience with Power Query or Power Automate is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Highly analytical, meticulous, and able to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations.
- Experience in an international finance function.
- Strong Management Accountant looking to step up to a Finance Manager role.
- Gaming experience is nice to have but not essential for this role.
