London Climate Action Week (LCAW) harnesses the unique power of London to accelerate global and local climate action. Founded in 2019 by E3G in partnership with the Mayor of London, LCAW has become one of the largest independent climate festivals globally and a key moment in the international climate calendar. LCAW operates as an independent publicâgood platform, guided by the principles of impact, inclusivity, openness, and radical collaboration. It is now transitioning to a yearâround organisation, anchored by its annual festival in June and supported by a dedicated Secretariat.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the London Climate Action Week Secretariat at a pivotal moment in its growth. This is a highâtrust, handsâon role supporting both the transition to a yearâround organisation and the delivery of the annual festival. As a dedicated post in the Secretariat, you will work closely with the Head of Secretariat and under the direction of the Chief Programme Officer. You will play a central role in implementing the 2026 business plan and helping establish the systems, processes, and relationships needed for LCAW's next phase of growth.
This role is suited to a confident, proactive selfâstarter who can operate with initiative, work directly with senior stakeholders and a vibrant, growing community of stakeholders and partners, and is motivated by the opportunity to help shape a growing organisation in a missionâdriven context.
Key Responsibilities- Programme & Project Management (including the platform & annual week)
- Support the development and coordination of LCAW's programmatic clusters
- Lead overall project management of the annual week, including planning, milestones, tools, and coordination with E3G colleagues
- Support development and delivery of the programme, including Secretariatâorganised events (speaker engagement, invitations, logistics, onâsite support)
- Support data collection and impact tracking (surveys, attendance, VIP engagement)
- Develop and implement a new event approvals process
- Support the growth and development of the LCAW community
- Organise stakeholder briefings and themed networking sessions
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including hubs, flagship event organisers, and partners
- Support LCAW governance structures, including LCAW Circle and Advisory Group meetings and global network of climate action weeks
- Contribute to website updates, newsletters, and communications
- Support fundraising and business development by monitoring enquiries and identifying opportunities
- Provide dayâtoâday operational support, including responding to enquiries
- Prepare presentations, meeting briefings, partnership pitches, and proposals
- Liaise with and manage external suppliers (website, communications, etc.)
- Support the rollâout and use of a CRM system
- Proven experience managing complex projects or programmes independently
- Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and external partners
- Strong organisational and timeâmanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and relationshipâbuilding skills
- Experience supporting or delivering events and programme content
- High attention to detail, problemâsolving ability, and delivery focus
- Proactive, 'canâdo' attitude, and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities
- Strong commitment to climate action and sustainability
- Desirable: Experience with event management tools, CRM systems, and communications or web platforms; international exposure or crossâcultural experience
- 1 year fullâtime or partâtime position, with potential extension
- Workâlife balance, a 35âhour workweek with a hybrid work model and flexitime
- Additional pension contribution equivalent to 7.5% of gross annual salary
- 25 vacation days + additional leave between Christmas and New Year

- E3G offers a reward and benefits package which compares well with other organisations within our sector. The indicative gross monthly salary range for this position in London is ÂŁ47,500âÂŁ52,500, dependent on experience and qualifications of the chosen candidate.
E3G is unable to provide relocation assistance to candidates who would need to change locations in order to take up this position. E3G will require candidates to demonstrate that they have the right to live and work in the chosen location.
