We are currently seeking a Consultant in Medicine to assist with an urgent assignment we're working on.
Role: Consultant in Medicine
Assignment: Preparation of a report into Medical Negligence / Non-Maleficence / Respect, Privacy and Dignity
Report Needed: TBC
Rate: £750
Brief: We require an expert to prepare a detailed report into the death of a patient in a Nigerian hospital, focusing on whether the lack of care, inappropriate treatment, or omission of treatment contributed to the patient’s passing. Specifically, the report should address:
- Whether there was negligence in the treatment and care provided (or not provided).
- Whether any treatment given was appropriate or potentially harmful.
- Whether these factors contributed to the patient’s death.
- Consideration of a pathology report that revealed a brain haemorrhage following autopsy, and how this may have influenced the circumstances.
Supporting materials include approximately 20 pages of notes and three short videos. It is also likely that the consultant will need to attend a future hearing via video link.
