Mission
Define and support new services, features, and usage concepts for the Asset and Work Manager suite, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements, regional market needs, and global product strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Product Liaison Between UK, Europe, MEA and New Zealand: Ensure that the global Product Manager, Product Owners, Engineering teams, and Delivery teams receive clear and timely product advice, updates, and priorities. Facilitate regular communication loops to align with global product goals and roadmaps. Collaborate with UK Product Manager and New Zealand Product Owners to plan activities for upcoming sprints and quarterly planning.
- Regional Enablement for UK, EU and MEA: Enable Sales, Pre‑sales, and Services teams across the UK, Europe and MEA for Asset Manager, Handover and Work Manager. Coordinate with global Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, Architecture and Engineering teams, including breakout sessions from quarterly planning. Coordinate the Ideas portal for AWM. Ensure AWM Aha! is updated at Feature, Epic and Requirement levels, aligning with current product goals and initiatives and flagging dependencies.
- Support Global Product Management: Support the UK Product Manager in defining features, refining requirements, and validating concepts. Participate in roadmap activities by capturing regional needs and ensuring they are communicated and understood at the global level. Assist with writing and refining documentation such as feature descriptions, technical notes, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure risks identified during development and planning are highlighted in Aha! and quarterly planning artefacts.
- Product Advocacy & Championing: Act as the Product Champion within the region, promoting product understanding, strategy, and value. Help grow awareness and adoption of product best practices within teams and customers (where appropriate). Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure feedback loops are healthy, structured, and data‑driven.
- Development Coordination & Support: Support engineering teams by ensuring they have accurate business context, product requirements, and subject‑matter expertise. Help clarify scope and priorities during refinement, sprint planning, and delivery cycles. Coordinate local validation, testing and acceptance activities, ensuring alignment with global product expectations.
- Documentation & Knowledge Alignment: Support the Academy team to create, update, and migrate AWM content. Maintain and contribute to local and global product documentation repositories. Write articles and case studies promoting the value of Asset and Work Manager. Reverse‑engineer and document existing functionality where knowledge gaps exist locally. Support internal training, onboarding and education activities related to the product. Review German translations of English documentation. Design and deliver Asset and Work Manager training for internal audiences.
What you need to fulfill the role:
- 5+ years’ domain experience in infrastructure, energy or vertical asset management.
- 5+ years’ experience with enterprise asset management software in consultancy, product ownership or product management roles.
- Product owner/manager experience in agile software development.
- Experience with asset data modelling.
- Experience with system integration and APIs.
- Experience with data analysis and modelling.
- Use of Product Management Software such as Aha!
- Functional expertise or method expertise.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Recognised Product Owner certification.
- Requirements gathering, feature definition and user story creation.
- Familiarity with AI tools and agentic use case development.
- Business process modelling.
- Customer and stakeholder relationship management.
- Advisor to software development and product management teams.
