We are seeking an experienced, hands‑on Marketing Business Operations Manager (f/m/d) to own and optimize our marketing technology, reporting, and processes. Acting as the backbone of our marketing engine, you will drive automation, ensure data integrity, and deliver insights that guide strategic decisions. This role requires a self‑sufficient professional with proven expertise in MarTech ownership, analytics, and cross‑functional alignment.
What your day will look like
- Marketing Technology & Automation
- Own and optimize the global MarTech stack.
- Manage integrations across systems to ensure data accuracy, lead flow efficiency, and campaign scalability.
- Evaluate, pilot, and implement new technologies that enhance automation, personalization, and campaign performance.
- Define and enforce standards for campaign execution (forms, landing pages, tagging, tracking, compliance).
- Leverage AI & automation tools to optimize day‑to‑day marketing tasks and campaign efficiency.
- Develop and streamline workflows, sequences, and automations to improve lead acquisition, enrichment and conversion.
- Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for marketing, sales, and leadership to track performance, pipeline impact, and ROI.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits, hygiene processes, and governance practices.
- Analyze campaign attribution and customer journeys across channels and regions; surface insights that inform strategy and budget allocation.
- Present findings in a clear, business‑oriented way to stakeholders at all levels.
- Establish regular reporting cadences for key stakeholders.
- Process & Performance Optimization
- Define, document, and continuously improve lead lifecycle processes in close collaboration with Sales Operations.
- Monitor and enforce follow‑up SLAs to drive accountability and transparency across Marketing and Sales.
- Establish best practices for campaign setup, testing, and optimization; ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations.
- Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and drive adoption of new processes across the team.
- Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner closely with Campaign Managers, Demand Generation, and Field Marketing to enable effective regional execution.
- Work with Sales Operations to align on lead routing, reporting, and attribution models.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert and advisor to leadership on marketing performance and technology.
- Train and enable marketing team members to confidently use tools and follow best practices.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations within a SaaS or technology environment.
- Proven expertise with Salesforce CRM and marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot); experience with analytics tools (Quip, GA4, Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar) is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success in managing and scaling a modern MarTech stack.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Hands‑on experience designing and enforcing operational processes, including GDPR/compliance requirements.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills; able to work effectively across teams and regions.
- Self‑driven, resourceful, and adaptable; thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
