What your day will look like: The Communications Manager will lead Thinkproject’s reputation and visibility efforts in markets through strategic media relations, PR initiatives, thought leadership, and industry partnerships. This role will position Thinkproject as a trusted voice in digital construction, ensuring the company’s expertise, innovation, and customer impact are recognised across key media and industry platforms. Through strategic communications initiatives, the Communications Manager will enhance brand awareness, credibility, and influence among customers, partners, and stakeholders. Working closely with global and regional teams, including Product Marketing, Events, and Sales, this role will ensure communications initiatives are insight-driven, consistent, and aligned with the global strategy making TP and its leadership members more visible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media Relations & PR Strategy: Develop and execute a global and regional PR strategy that elevates Thinkproject’s profile. Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional journalists, trade publications, and key industry influencers. Create press releases, media pitches, and opinion pieces that highlight company milestones and innovation. Secure media coverage and speaking opportunities to strengthen Thinkproject’s leadership position in the industry. Lead media training for Thinkproject spokespeople, ensuring consistent and confident delivery of key messages across all interactions. Monitor, analyse, and report on media performance, share of voice, and sentiment to continuously optimise outreach.
  • Thought Leadership & Executive Profiling: Position Thinkproject’s leaders as recognised industry voices through interviews, bylines, and conference/event appearances, while also creating compelling scripts and narratives for executive speeches and recorded video messages. Collaborate with subject-matter experts to produce insightful content that reflects market trends and customer relevance. Develop and manage award submissions and recognition programs for Thinkproject. Manage analyst relations. Partner with the Events and Marketing teams to identify and coordinate participation in key conferences and industry forums.
  • Partnerships & Industry Engagement: Establish and maintain partnerships with industry associations, media organisations, and event partners to amplify Thinkproject’s visibility. Identify and engage regional influencers to create amplification opportunities. Collaborate with partners on joint communication opportunities that support shared initiatives. Identify sponsorships, collaborations, and award opportunities that strengthen Thinkproject’s reputation and credibility. Lead customer use case development, capturing and promoting success stories & customer testimonials. Manage Capterra and G2 profiles, ensuring positive representation and leveraging customer feedback to enhance brand trust and visibility.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with the global Communications team to share best practices and ensure consistent storytelling. Leverage AI and productivity tools to enhance media monitoring, outreach, and content development efficiency.

What you need to fulfil the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience in communications, PR, or brand management, ideally in B2B or technology industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully raising the profile and awareness of a B2B brand in the UK or other connected regions (ANZ/ MEA), supported by measurable outcomes.
  • Strong skills in storytelling, content creation, and media relations.
  • Native English language proficiency.
  • Experience managing social media channels and digital communication campaigns.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and adopting new digital communication technologies.
