What your day will look like:

  • Lead and manage the global tax team.
  • Develop and implement global tax strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
  • Ensure compliance with international tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and filings for all jurisdictions.
  • Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and corporate structures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with tax strategies and compliance.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
  • Prepare and review tax provision calculations and financial statement disclosures.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the tax function.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in global tax management.

Team Leadership:

  • Build, motivate and lead a high‑performing team.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members.

What you need to fulfill the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • German native speaker.
  • CPA, CTA, or equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in global tax management or a similar role from an international company environment.
  • Profound knowledge of transfer pricing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Functional expertise or method expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of international tax laws and regulations, especially for Germany and internationally.
  • Extensive knowledge of transfer pricing in an international organisation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
