We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive with European language skills to support the growth of our European client base. Based in London, this full-time, office-based role focuses on acquiring, activating, and retaining retail trading clients, while delivering an exceptional client experience aligned with ThinkMarkets’ brand and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have FX/CFD sales experience, strong communication skills in a European language, and the ability to convert leads into long-term active clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Acquisition & Onboarding: Engage with prospective European clients via phone, email, live chat, and digital channels. Convert qualified leads into active trading clients. Guide clients through account opening, verification, and initial funding.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail clients. Act as a trusted point of contact for platform usage, trading queries, and account support. Proactively engage clients to increase activity, retention, and lifetime value.
- Revenue & Activity Growth: Reactivate dormant accounts and drive incremental trading volume. Promote relevant products, platforms, and campaigns to meet individual and team revenue targets. Consistently achieve or exceed sales KPIs and performance metrics.
- Market & Client Insights: Stay informed on global market conditions, macroeconomic events, and client trading behaviour. Provide feedback to management on client needs, competitor activity, and product improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, compliance, and retention teams to deliver a seamless client journey. Support webinars, seminars, promotions, and client engagement initiatives.
- Compliance & Conduct: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain accurate CRM records and follow approved communication standards.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity, and outcomes within the CRM. Provide regular updates on performance, client trends, and sales activity to management.
- 3+ years’ experience in sales within the FX/CFD or online trading industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, CFDs, FX, and trading platforms (MT4/MT5, ThinkTrader).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and performance reporting tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and adapting quickly to new systems and platforms.
- Ability to work European market hours from the London office, in a collaborative, in-person team environment.
- Fluency in English and at least one European language (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field from a globally recognised university is required; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
