My client is looking for a consultant who can start in January, and the role will be based onsite in Edinburgh. This professional should have solid expertise in identifying customer-impacting defects, and advanced knowledge of software and hardware interoperability issues and solutions.

The EAS, SV will be solution-oriented and use their expertise to recommend and implement solutions across multiple product lines. Lead verification efforts to ensure comprehensive communication solutions exceed industry standards and delight customers. Craft detailed, comprehensive, and meticulously structured test plans and test cases.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate advanced testing strategies that enhance product development and performance. Utilise lab environments, using state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to conduct thorough testing and validation processes. Demonstrate technical leadership throughout testing projects to achieve exceptional outcomes within set timelines, maintaining a results-driven approach.

Anticipate and address challenges promptly, ensuring project continuity without compromising quality. Communicate complex technical concepts and strategies to team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader objectives. Support strategic planning and execution efforts per the department’s objectives, demonstrating a strong bias for action.

Implement verification strategies tailored for ecosystem solutions, ensuring robust performance in diverse scenarios. Test advanced software systems to ensure compliance with system specifications and system interoperability. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality, engineering, system testing, or a related technical field. In-depth understanding of architectures, protocols, and integrations within Audio Electronics / Communications. Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of complex systems. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments of diverse scope.

Experience with C, C++, Python, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and other scripting languages. Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills for resolving complex issues in live environments. Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
