My client is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their very busy and ongoing projects. The IT Service Management Process Business Analyst provides the analytical and execution capacity that enables the client's Global Services Process Owners to focus on process governance and standards rather than ground-level analytical delivery. The role sits between process intent and operational reality — translating process designs into documented requirements, running system testing and UAT, engaging regional teams to surface local variations and gaps, and acting as the day-to-day liaison between GPOs, IT, and delivery partners. This is a cross-domain role.
The BA works across the client's Global Services process landscape (Education Services, Support Services, Professional Support, Technical Pre‑Sales) under the direction of the relevant Service Line Leader for each workstream. The unifying skill is the ability to move fluently between business process and systems language — and to do the detailed, structured work that keeps transformation programmes running cleanly.
The client's Global Serviced transformation is simultaneously implementing a PSA (Kantata), Support Services Workflow (MVINE) and, in 2027, a new LMS, standardising commercial processes across many countries. Each workstream requires significant analytical work: mapping current‑state processes, documenting gaps, writing business requirements, validating system configuration against process intent, and running UAT across complex, multi‑entity environments. Service Line Leaders are the process authorities for their respective domains. The ITSM Process BA role takes on the structured analytical and delivery execution work. This is not a passive documentation role. The BA is expected to take initiative, drive workstreams to conclusion, and flag issues before they become blockers — operating with sufficient autonomy to keep work moving between Global Services touchpoints.
Required Experience & Capabilities
- Essential
- 3–5 years in a business analyst, process analyst, or functional consultant role within a complex ITSM technology or operations environment
- Proven experience documenting business processes at L2/L3 level and translating them into clear, structured requirements for IT or system implementation teams
- Hands‑on experience running UAT: writing test cases, managing test execution, logging and tracking defects to resolution, and producing sign‑off documentation
- Experience working in multi‑stakeholder environments — able to engage regional operations teams, IT partners, and external delivery partners simultaneously without losing thread
- Strong written communication: produces clear, unambiguous process documentation, requirements specs, and status reporting; writing is a core output of this role
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information — able to structure work, surface the right questions, and keep delivery moving
- Experience working on PSA implementations (Kantata, Financial Force, Rocketlane, Monday.com or similar) in a BA or functional analyst capacity
- Experience working within a Salesforce CRM environment: lead management, opportunity management, quoting, order management, or partner management
- Experience working alongside a systems integrator or delivery partner on an enterprise transformation programme
- Exposure to process governance frameworks
- Familiarity with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, MIRO, or equivalent) and requirements management approaches (user stories, functional specs, JIRA)
