My client is currently looking for a production manager to join the ever-growing team. The Production Manager will ideally come from an events background and will oversee all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality output, and timely delivery of hardware and materials to support onsite teams. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, reducing bottlenecks, and improving resource allocation within the production function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities, including packing, hardware preparation, and delivery scheduling.
- Supervise and develop the Production Engineer, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient workflows to minimise last-minute changes and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to align production timelines with project requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement for hardware and materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to modernise production processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all production activities.
- Report on production performance, resource utilisation, and operational risks to the Operations Director.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in production or operations management within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Knowledge of hardware assembly and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in workflow management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements.
