An excellent opportunity to join a leading international law firm as a Team Leader Lawyer, supervising and managing paralegal teams across a broad range of projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role offering exposure to high‑profile matters, multiple practice areas, and innovative legal technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise teams of paralegals on projects including document review and due diligence
- Brief and allocate work, oversee quality control, and provide day‑to‑day guidance and support
- Conduct pastoral and professional development conversations with paralegals
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and aligned with client expectations
- Contribute to the development of best‑practice guidance and training materials
- Liaise with external vendors and manage delivery against strict deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to advance the use of legal technology tools such as AI‑driven document review and automated drafting
- Support wider initiatives including business development, marketing and recruitment activities
Candidate Requirements
- UK or foreign qualified solicitor (current practising certificate) or CILEX lawyer
- Proven experience supervising paralegals in a professional services environment
- Broad exposure to multiple disciplines (e.g. Litigation, Corporate or Real Estate) advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident managing competing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) with strong research and drafting skills
Hybrid working and salary up to £75,000
