An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Court of Protection Solicitor to join a leading law firm with a highly regarded private client practice. Working as part of a specialist team, you will manage a varied caseload of deputyship and personal injury trust matters while supporting vulnerable clients and their families. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases within a collaborative team, with excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Role
- Manage a varied caseload of Court of Protection deputyship and personal injury trust matters
- Advise clients, families, case managers and other professionals on property and financial affairs
- Work closely with Personal Injury and Medical Negligence teams on litigated and settled claims
- Draft Court of Protection applications and annual Deputy Reports
- Assist with complex deputyship and trust matters alongside senior colleagues
- Coordinate billing, detailed assessment of costs and financial administration
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure exceptional client service throughout
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE in Court of Protection
- Strong experience managing deputyship and property and affairs matters
- Experience with personal injury trusts is advantageous
- Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
- Compassionate and client-focused approach with the ability to manage sensitive matters
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
