Come and join our Brand New Nursery. We are seeking to appoint experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners Leaders to our Brand New Little Thinkers Nursery setting at Furzeham Primary and Nursery School. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education. You would work primarily at Furzeham Little Thinkers but may be given the opportunity to work at Kings Ash and Curledge Street settings too. All of our settings are bespoke 0-2 settings who specialise in baby development.

Duties:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and rest periods.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities and progress.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times.
  • Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
