At Thinkerer Education we activate the greatest asset a child has: themselves. By building firm foundations in literacy and numeracy, developing a deeper and broader knowledge base that connects subjects cross-curriculum, and encouraging students to be bold and adventurous, we cultivate curiosity, an ability to think, and a growth mindset that values the enriching power of education throughout school and beyond.

We pride ourselves on finding solutions for any educational problem a family comes to us with. Most commonly parents are looking for guidance and preparation for school entry exams at 7+ through to 11+/13+. This can be the most stressful time for students and parents but with our guidance we take the heavy lifting away, creating bespoke plans for each student and advising on the best schools for their character and ability with the priority that the child ends up in a school they will be happy at. We also provide tuition for ongoing attainment at any age, targeted GCSE and A Level help, as well as courses for specific goals and enrichment.

The Job:

In line with what we do our jobs are varied and unique. We are looking to meet tutors who have experience working with primary age children, those that have successfully guided students to achieve places at competitive selective schools in London and the rest of the UK at 7+ through to 11+. Candidates need to be able to work in-person in central London, be registered as self employed to invoice the company for lessons taught and have be on the DBS update system. We can help with these last two if you are not already.

Our placements are paid based on experience and the company takes a commission from the client on top of the tutor fee, we do not take money from your fee. You are also able to set your rate although we will advise on what is achievable. Tutors usually earn from £30ph up to £150ph dependant on experience and job.

If interested please send a short video introducing yourself, talking about your experience and your areas of expertise and WhatsApp it to me at 07816 078 028. If you can't do this, send in writing to . Why I prefer the video application is that tutoring is face to face role and getting an idea of your personality and character is really important. If you apply via email we will set up a zoom call to talk in any case if I wish to take your application further.
