What you'll do

  • Oversee a variety of tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic sales environment, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Uphold a high standard of accuracy and meticulousness in all operational activities to maintain quality service.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with enterprise clients and blue-chip organizations, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Independently tackle challenges while effectively managing responsibilities both remotely and in the office.
  • Facilitate commercial transactions for clients whose annual spending exceeds 1 million pounds, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Analyze client data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, showcasing operational performance and insights.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of services offered.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to provide insights that can enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.
  • Support the sales team by providing operational insights that can aid in closing deals and enhancing client relationships.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise or blue-chip clients with annual expenditures exceeding 1 million pounds.
  • Proven track record in managing high-value commercial transactions effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and presentations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking client interactions and transactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, coupled with strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Effective time management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working within a medium to large IT reseller or channel partner, providing valuable industry insight.
  • Knowledge of vendor registration and pricing systems, including but not limited to Cisco, Dell, Juniper, Palo Alto, HPE, and Nutanix.
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, enabling efficient management of client relationships and transactions.
  • Experience in managing or supporting large corporate accounts, enhancing understanding of client needs and expectations.

Skills & tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for daily tasks and reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems to manage client data and interactions.
  • Familiarity with vendor systems such as Cisco, Dell, Juniper, Palo Alto, HPE, and Nutanix to streamline operational processes.

Practical notes

  • Standard working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured workday.
  • The position operates on a hybrid model, permitting two days of remote work each week for better work-life balance.
  • Occasional travel may be required, up to 10 percent, which could include international trips depending on client needs.
  • Flexibility may be necessary, as some evening or weekend work could arise to meet project deadlines or client demands.
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK, as this role does not provide visa sponsorship.
  • The company employs AI tools for reviewing applications and transcribing interviews; candidates have the option to opt out of these processes without any repercussions.
