Support the Think Tenacity’s Senior Leadership Team as an experienced Project Manager from the public or private sector. Hit the ground running in Jan 2026, by leading planning and delivery of Q1–Q4 project to provide free therapy for underserved Black marginalised communities in the UK & US.
This role supports the Senior Leadership Team and Therapy Team to continue providing free therapy to underserved Black marginalised communities in the UK & US. Your experience as a Project Manager from the public or private sector will help Think Tenacity Academy become sustainable in the long term. This volunteering role will help our organisation develop the Think Tenacity Academy Q1–Q2 strategic plan increasing external stakeholder engagement within the organisation to drive future success and to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.
Qualities And Experience Volunteer Should Have:
- Experience working in the Private or Public sector as self‑motivated Project Manager (Min 3 years)
- Developing project documents to assist in the smooth running of project deliverables and deadlines
- Participation in senior management meetings
- Delegate project actions to stakeholders and team members
- Supporting the progression of projects in line with our organisation’s aims and objectives
- Use a project management tool for tracking and maintaining and updating project timelines
- Stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management with therapists and suppliers
- Supporting project research and development with the wider Operations Team
- Collating data for our records, evaluation and funders requirements in meeting GDR guidelines
- Supporting the Events Team running mental health workshops for stakeholder engagement with a smooth execution that meets the needs of our members
- Administrative tasks relating to the role as necessary

What will you be doing?
- Create, plan and deliver a Q1–Q4 project plan for stakeholder engagement and to provide outreach for Think Tenacity Academy free therapy service and mental health workshops events for underserved Black marginalised communities in the UK & US
- Work in line with our aims and objectives as well as ensuring the projects/events meet the deliverables of our funders
- Work in collaboration with our fundraiser to forward plan and prepare for applications to continue our free therapy sessions and events
- Work with the operations team and provide an update report for our Board of Trustees
- Work with other team members toward delivering a quality and standard that meets the needs of our members
- A good understanding of the client group and working with charitable organisations is desirable as we are committed to our members and their needs
