Do you love planning events from home? Volunteer remotely for 1‑2 hours a week, organising Think Tenacity events that provide free counselling and support for our members from the Black community. This role supports Think Tenacity Events and the Free Therapy Team in delivering free counseling and mental health support. We also aim to develop free entry events for 2026 to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues.

What will you be doing?

This remote role is ideal for someone living in the UK or internationally who is passionate about mental health events that are free for the Black community. You are a highly organised person with strong management skills and a minimum of three years experience working in events from the private or public sector.

Working from home duties

  • Attend weekly event planning status team meetings with the CEO & senior leadership via Zoom.
  • Support our Event Team and Therapy Team to plan the 2026 calendar of events, including mental health workshops, event committee meetings via Zoom, and the annual Think Tenacity Event.
  • Manage pre‑planning event deadlines: panel/speaker schedules, venue booking, hospitality, volunteer delegation and RSVP delegate management.
  • Responsibility for updating and tracking event project deadlines using a spreadsheet.
  • Update the event team’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) providing step‑by‑step instructions for completing event tasks, helping to maintain consistency and efficiency.
