We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager (data science) to join a Global MedTech leader working on one of the most exciting surgical technology platforms in the world. This is a hands-on delivery role spanning planning, stakeholder management and operational governance across complex cross-functional initiatives. Your stakeholders sit across London and the US, so confidence managing transatlantic relationships is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering data science or analytics programmes in regulated environments such as MedTech, digital health, or life sciences. Be equally comfortable running sprint ceremonies with technical teams and presenting executive summaries to senior commercial stakeholders and can translate complexity into clarity, keep programmes moving and embed fast.

Start Date: Duration: 14 months - maternity cover, which includes time for a handover and hand-back.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Location: Hybrid working, 2 days per week at their London office, Old Street.
Salary: £450 - £525 per day depending on experience
Duties to include:
- Planning and coordination across multiple concurrent data science workstreams
- Sprint ceremonies, stand-ups and cross-functional delivery governance
- Stakeholder communication, steering materials and executive level reporting
- Risk and dependency management across fast-moving programmes
- Roadmap planning, quarterly prioritisation and delivery process improvement
Candidate Experience:
- Delivery of data science, analytics, or ML programmes in regulated or R&D environments
- Senior stakeholder management across technical and commercial audiences
- Agile delivery experience, sprint planning, retrospectives, cross-functional ceremonies
- Familiarity with modern data environments such as Snowflake or similar platforms
- Exposure to AI or emerging technology programmes
- US stakeholder or transatlantic programme experience
- The ability to embed quickly and deliver from day one
