Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large, well‐respected international company that is a market leader in its field. Our client is currently looking to recruit an Order Management and Stock Coordinator to join their busy, fast‐paced orders department. To be considered for this role, the candidate will need to have strong experience using SAP in a previous role.

This position is a critical role within the client's team where you will support their customers to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and that the customer experience is seamless throughout. You will work in close collaboration with the sales team and service department.

You will be responsible for dealing with key account handling duties, demonstrating an ability to manage high‐value relationships with professionalism and accuracy. The successful candidate will possess an advanced SAP skillset, with experience in stock control through SAP to ensure smooth logistics and product availability.

This is a fully office‐based role to start, but after training and probation you will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. Core hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm.

The client is offering a starting salary of up to £35,000, along with an attractive package of company perks including an annual bonus, department‐based bonus, substantial company pension and private health insurance.

Duties
  • Prepare quotations and process orders through SAP accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate deliveries with distributors
  • Maintain customer data in SAP according to guidelines
  • Ensure all order updates are entered into the database
  • Record all delivery data following each order
  • Manage order book and deliveries to reflect customer requirements
  • Keep track of all UK deliveries
  • Liaise with warehouse to ensure delivery instructions are communicated
  • Book site surveys and arrange installations where required
  • Handle all inbound customer service calls in a timely manner
  • Oversee all return shipments
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience managing high‐volume, business‐critical key accounts within demanding environments
  • Strong experience in sales administration and customer service is a must
  • Advanced working knowledge of SAP is a must, with experience using it for order entry, availability checks, delivery tracking, and invoicing
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and open‐minded individual who can demonstrate a positive mindset when problem solving
  • Understanding of stock control principles, backorders, and product lead times
  • Exposure to order lifecycle management, from quotation through to delivery and after‐sales support
  • Able to work independently and follow through on responsibilities
  • Strong team player, helpful, empathetic, and able to maintain a balanced approach
  • Resilient under pressure and able to handle confrontation politely and well‐mannered
  • Results‐driven individual who can manage multiple tasks at any given time
  • Skilled in identifying solutions and solving problems to ensure a happy customer experience
  • Detail‐oriented, especially with order processing, pricing, and agreements
