We are helping a world-renowned international business find someone to join their Administration Team as an Events Coordinator. This role provides administrative support to the internal team at the Hemel site and all relating operations across the world. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating workshops, meetings, and events.
- Acting as the main contact for all customers and contacts inside and outside of the business.
- Responding to inquiries and providing information or directing people to the correct resources.
- Active involvement in coordinating larger projects and tasks, including resource gathering, material management, data management, and working with invoices/budgets.
- Document control and audit management.
- Providing ad-hoc admin and office support.
This role is ideal for someone with previous administration experience, good communication and people skills, and a passion for organisation and coordination. Experience in events, whether workshops, exhibitions, weddings, or similar, is essential.
This is a temporary role to start ASAP, with a view to supporting the company on an ongoing basis for the next 12 months. Hybrid working is fully embraced, with full-time hours from Monday to Friday and some weekly office presence required. The offices are based in the Maylands area of Hemel Hempstead (free parking on site), so please ensure this is commutable for you before applying.
The hourly rate is equivalent to just over Β£29,000 + holiday pay accrual, with potential for a salary of Β£30k+ if the position becomes permanent. Experience within administration and ideally some form of coordination, planning, or organisation will be beneficial. Candidates must be able to commute easily to the Hemel Hempstead, Maylands area.
