Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing thriving national award-winning business based near Aylesbury. Due to exciting growth as a business, our client is currently expanding their Warehouse operations and as a result are looking for multiple Stock Controllers to join their busy fast-paced team.
You will be responsible for all incoming and outgoing stock. The role will include cycle counting, audit reporting, space utilisation and location optimisation within the warehouse, working closely with warehouse management. You will be an organised team player who can continuously meet expectations, with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
Our client is currently hiring for two positions within their team across different shifts:
- One shift pattern will be Tuesday to Friday (6am to 2pm) - also working Saturdays (7am to 3pm).
- The other shift pattern will be working Monday to Friday (2pm to 10pm).
On offer is a salary of £26,280 with an additional £1k per annum available for candidates with MHE training.
Duties Include:
- Maintain 100% accuracy for all stock processed.
- Perform cycle counts for any discrepancies, communicating outcomes with suggestions for improvement to management.
- Perform process audits to identify potential sources of inventory discrepancies or quality issues.
- Periodically review stock movements, optimisation of product placement and location type based.
- Develop and maintain replenishment plan that is in line with the current sales demands aiming to reduce pending replenishment pick shortages, ensuring replenishment plan is adhered to.
- Operate on multiple WMS systems to ensure the maintenance of stock integrity, utilising existing or creating bespoke reports to achieve this.
- Assist with the processing of returned stock.
- Liaise with Finance and Client Support team regarding aged or expired stock, to effectively manage removal of obsolete or expired stock.
- Any other reasonable related duties as required.
Candidate requirements:
- Accurate data skills, IT literate.
- Demonstrate support and drive for continuous improvement activity.
- Ability to represent company values and embody company goals and visions.
- Communicate in a professional, clear and concise way.
- Ability to demonstrate an organised and accurate approach when working in a busy environment.
- Practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to resolution.
- WMS experience or prior inventory or stock control experience.
- Prior strong Warehouse Experience is a must.
