we are seeking a highly organised and motivated Commercial Administrator to join their growing commercial team. Based in the head office in Chesham, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business that delivers construction and maintenance projects across affordable housing, education, and commercial sectors. In this role, you\’ll play a key part in supporting the commercial function, processing client orders, issuing work instructions, managing project trackers, assisting with financial documentation, and liaising with internal teams and subcontractors. No prior construction experience is required full training will be provided, and this role can offer clear progression towards an Assistant Quantity Surveyor position for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Log client orders and update relevant Excel-based trackers Issue instructions to site teams, subcontractors, and internal operatives Manage variations, ensuring formal documentation and schedule updates Compile and finalise accounts with clients, supporting invoice preparation Prepare subcontractor final accounts and payment notices Run and maintain weekly reports on work progress Support Quantity Surveyors with monthly commercial reports and internal forecastingAbout You: We\’re looking for someone enthusiastic and eager to grow within the construction sector.
