Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an existing client with the recruitment of a Service Technician to join their growing team.
This client are a well established and successful business based in the Elstree area, they are looking for a candidate with previous experience of working with small electrical devices to join their service team.
This opportunity would suit someone who has previous experience within a similar position, experience of working with small electrical devices with precision when handling and repairing.
Monday - Friday Fully based on site Salary - £33,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
The Position
Service, clean, calibrate and repair core fusion splicer products within Service Centre.
Carry out repairs across a minimum of two core product types.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
Meet repair quality and efficiency targets.
Handle precision electro-mechanical and opto-electronic equipment with care and accuracy.
Maintain accurate service records using Microsoft Office and the company's ERP system.
Follow established service procedures and quality standards.
Continuously develop technical knowledge and learn new products and repair techniques.
Work collaboratively with the Service Centre team to deliver excellent customer service.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies.
The suitable candidate
Previous experience repairing small electrical or electronic devices requiring precision.
A Level 3 BTEC, ONC or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
Strong practical, hands-on skills with electro-mechanical and opto-electronic equipment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable using ERP systems.
A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
A valid UK driving licence.
