Think Accountancy and Finance have partnered with a global, well-known business based in Watford, we are looking for a proactive and technically strong Accounts Assistant to join their consistently evolving finance team.\\n\\nYou will need to have experience across both payables and receivables, alongside a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will also need to be confident and comfortable using Excel, as you will be handling large sets of data on a regular basis.\\n\\nThis position would be ideal for someone looking to join a reputable, fast-paced business, who can prioritise workload, has high attention to detail, and enjoys being part of motivated and positive team!\\n\\nExperience working within a multi-site business and exposure to multiple currencies would be highly beneficial.\\n\\nResponsibilities include:\\n\\nA 50/50 split across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable\\nProcessing purchase invoices, checking POs and ensuring accurate coding\\nRaising sales invoices and supporting billing processes\\nManaging supplier accounts, resolving invoice queries and discrepancies\\nInputting and maintaining accurate data within Excel spreadsheets\\nProducing reports and uploading then posting data \\nSupporting month-end processes where required\\nLiaising with internal stakeholders across multiple sites\\nEnsuring compliance with internal controls and finance proceduresRequirements \\n\\nExperience in purchase and sales ledger\\nStrong Excel skills, ( PIVOTS, LookUps, SumIFs)\\nLarge system skills such as Oracle, MS 365 or SAP experience is desirable but not essential – they will train!\\nStrong time management and ability to meet deadlines\\nKeen to learn, ability to adapt and grow with the businessThe role does have the option to work on a hybrid basis one day a week (usually Fridays!). Start and finish times can be flexable as long as core hours are covered.
