Sales Administrator - Dunstable
We are working with an industry leading provider in Dunstable who are renowned for supplying products and services that you'd see on TV and at some of the largest events in the UK. We are looking to speak with experienced Sales Administrators, who have strong working knowledge of processing orders and more importantly raising invoices.
In this role you'd be 100% focussed on supporting the team with invoices, PO's and quotation support - So you'd be spending a lot of time on the system working through all documentation linked to orders and projects but equally you'd need to be speaking to project managers, clients, engineers etc. where required.
This is going to be an ideal role for someone with previous office experience, ideally, we're looking for someone with good communication and people skills, but more inportantly the successful candidate will come with strong orders processing or invoicing experience.
You'd be joining a well-established company and a high-functioning team of very kind, supportive and fun people with a real work hard, play hard attitude.
This is a temporary position to start, with a view to this role going Permenant towards the end of this year. You'd be earning a salary of £28k which would be weekly pay at an hourly rate of £14.56 per hour (+ holiday pay accrual).
Hybrid working is on offer here as standard and you'd be doing so from week 2, working 3 days in the offices in Dunstable and 2 days from home weekly (Usually Mon-Weds in the offices and Thurs/Fri WFH).
The team operate Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm with an hour's lunch break.
What to expect day-to-day:
- Generating and processing up to approximately 200 invoices, POs and other order documents per month.
- Running weekly reports to help your team track project timeframes and targets.
- Quote building - Lots of admin/data input to create quotes whilst speaking to customers
Candidate Skills:
- Some form of previous office experience is essential, particularly dealing with invoicing, processing orders, raising POs or similar.
- Communication skills are very important in this role, working alongside internal contacts and communication with project managers, engineers and customers in the field.
- Must be comfortable with working from home a few times a week and have a good wifi connection and dedicated work space.
- The ability to work with your own initiative.
- Multitasking, juggling and managing your own workload.
- A positive and can-do outlook and approach.
- A team player.
