Project Administrator
Location: Chesham
Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We're working with a lovely, well-established business based in Chesham who are looking for an organised and motivated individual to join their friendly and welcoming team.

The role is varied, combining project support, coordinating information, maintaining records, assisting with reporting and helping keep day-to-day activities running smoothly. You'll have the opportunity to build your knowledge, take ownership of your work and make a real contribution to the wider team.
What will you be doing?
- Logging new client orders and maintaining accurate project trackers.
- Providing day-to-day support to the team to help keep projects organised and on track.
- Monitoring variations and following up on outstanding documentation.
- Assisting with invoices, payment notices and account processes.
- Preparing weekly progress reports and commercial updates.
- Supporting forecasting and reporting activities.
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, clients and internal departments.
- Keeping systems, project information and records accurate and up to date.
- Following up on actions and helping ensure tasks are completed within agreed deadlines.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys keeping things running smoothly. You'll be comfortable working with information and figures, managing different priorities and communicating with a variety of people.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience in administration, business support, project coordination or a similar role.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with different people.
- Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- A proactive attitude, with the confidence to follow up on tasks and see things through to completion.
- A willingness to learn, develop new skills and build your understanding of how projects are managed.
Experience within construction, property, maintenance or a related sector would be beneficial, but a positive attitude, transferable administrative skills and a willingness to learn are just as important.
