Think Selection is delighted to be recruiting a Head of HR for a well-established UK publishing group. The role leads the HR function and plays an important part in how the business supports and develops its people.
As Head of HR, you’ll take full ownership of the Human Resources remit. This includes employee relations, pay and benefits, HR policies, payroll oversight, wellbeing and health and safety. You will also be responsible for ensuring HR processes are run smoothly and that managers are supported with clear, practical guidance.
A strong people focus is part of the role. You’ll contribute to further developing a positive performance and team culture, oversee staff training activity, and play an active role in reward, including salary benchmarking and benefits.
You’ll lead and develop a small Human Resources team and ensure that day to day HR activity runs smoothly. Alongside this, you will work closely with senior management on wider people related priorities, bringing a practical and commercially aware approach.
This role will suit an experienced HR generalist who enjoys responsibility and is comfortable balancing people focused work with operational responsibilities. You will need a good understanding of payroll processes and solid experience of employee relations. CIPD qualification is expected.
