Think Construction are excited to be working with one of the UK's leading Main Contractors on an exciting Site Manager role. This role is for a £4 million project they have in Birmingham. They are a leading contractor in the Education, Commercial and Healthcare space and have a lot of projects around the local area.
They are a forward thinking and modern business which will allow you the flexibility and freedom to work how you see fit with the clients you are partnered with, while also having the support of the established senior leadership team to aid your work as this is a no2 position on site. They are a big believer in internal promotion, progression and want to foster their company culture within people and watch them develop into the Managers and Directors of the future. At the heart of this culture is their social value initiative which not only aids in securing brilliant projects but helps the areas around where these projects are taking place, redeveloping recreation areas or refurbishing community centres.
Responsibilities
- Operate as No.2 on site for a £4 million project in Birmingham, reporting to the Senior Site Manager/Project Manager.
- Coordinate site activities to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and resolve on-site issues.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and quality standards on site.
- Collaborate with commercial and design teams to manage subcontractors and on-site logistics.
Qualifications
- Experience running your own jobs and previous work for a main contractor.
- Experience on projects with a value up to £10 million.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
