Due to continued growth and a number of recently secured projects, this successful regional main contractor is looking to recruit a Site Manager to join their operational team. The business is financially strong, has an excellent reputation within the construction industry and delivers projects across the industrial, commercial and retail sectors. With a turnover of approximately £150 million, they have built long-standing relationships with their clients and now secure the majority of their work through repeat business and negotiated contracts.

The Role

Initially, you will join a £15 million new-build industrial warehouse development in the West Midlands, working alongside the existing Site Manager on the delivery of the project. The development is a steel-frame industrial scheme with around six months remaining on site, offering the opportunity to become part of an established team and play a key role in the successful completion of the project. Following completion, you will move onto further industrial and warehouse developments across the Midlands, generally within an hour of Solihull.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management of site activities.
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
  • Managing quality inspections and ensuring work is completed to specifications.
