Think Recruitment are currently working with an award-winning consulting engineers with decades of experience, vast technical expertise and a friendly, proactive approach who are looking to recruit a Structural Project Engineer, initially working on and running a multi-building portal shed project. Over the years our client have delivered projects of every size, in every sector, with every kind of complexity so the successful candidate will gain exposure to a range of projects.

Ideally with a solid background of working within consulting engineers, the successful candidate will:

  • Undertake design work, inspections and construction site support on major infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct concept and feasibility studies for multi-discipline design projects.
  • Perform analysis and design using engineering software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA and TEDDS as well as producing hand calculations.
  • Prepare calculations, CDM activities, basis of design, and material specifications.
  • Support senior structural engineers.

To be considered for this great opportunity, you will have:

  • Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
  • A degree qualified (BEng or MEng), Structural Engineer.
  • Proven ability in preparation of design and calculation documentation.
  • Experience in the design of structures in reinforced concrete and steelwork.
  • Knowledge and use of BIM packages.
