My client requires an experienced, professional carpenter to join their highly reputable maintenance and repairs division carrying out planned 2nd fix carpentry maintenance on empty council properties. This role is a long-running temporary position with the potential to go permanent for reliable and hard-working candidates.   • Start Date: January 2026
  • Location: North Shields
  • Hours: 37 hours per week – 08:00 – 16:00 Monday‑Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 Friday

Job Role

Carrying out planned carpentry repair work on empty domestic council properties across the North Tyneside region. Work will range from hanging internal doors, kitchen repairs, fitting hand rails, replacing architraves, and refitting flooring, skirting, etc.

Pay Rate

£18.00 per hour
