A fantastic opportunity for an extended period of work with a prestigious local council. We are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative with a full UK license looking for steady work. Our client is searching for candidates with experience in horticultural duties i.e. grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, debris clearance, weeding, etc. The ideal candidate would have experience with hand- and power-tools relevant to the role. This is seasonal work managing the green spaces around the city during the growing period.
Responsibilities
- Carry out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, debris clearance, weeding and other horticultural duties.
- Soft landscaping works and waste management including litter-picking and disposal, shrub-bed renewal.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK Driving License
- Horticultural experience
- Experience with hand- and power-tools relevant to the role
