Site Manager (Fire Protection) Location: Cheshire Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Rate: £270 per day Site Manager – Cheshire – Waste to Energy Plant – Fire Protection Install – Ongoing I\’m working with a specialist subcontractor delivering fire protection works on a large-scale Waste to Energy plant currently under construction in Cheshire. This role will see you managing the day-to-day site operations for the fire protection installation, reporting directly to a site-based Project Manager. The project is at an exciting phase, with complex and high-spec packages underway. Key Responsibilities: Site Supervision: Oversee the daily installation of fire protection systems across the plant. Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Coordinate site labour, subcontractors, and materials to maintain programme. Communication & Reporting: Report into the Project Manager with daily updates and progress reports. Liaise with main contractor site teams and other trades to ensure smooth operations. Health & Safety: Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks as needed. Quality Assurance: Monitor quality of installations and address any defects or reworks. Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
