I am working with a family-run interiors subcontractor based in the East Midlands who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join them on a large industrial project in Bury St Edmunds. Working for the interiors subcontractor with the Principal Contractor as the client, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of their package on site, managing subcontractors and coordinating works to ensure everything is delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard. You will report into a visiting Project Manager, so this is a good opportunity for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of the site and managing their own day-to-day workload.

The Role:

  • Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the interiors package
  • Managing subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
  • Working closely with the Principal Contractor and wider site team
  • Ensuring works are delivered to programme and specification
  • Monitoring quality and managing any issues or snagging
