Job Title: Site Engineer - Social Housing Location: Nottingham Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Package About the Company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a well-established construction and civil engineering contractor. Based out of the East Midlands office, this role will support the delivery of residential and social housing projects, with occasional involvement in commercial schemes. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, primarily within the social housing sector for clients such as housing associations, with occasional involvement in commercial schemes. Key Responsibilities Read, interpret, and communicate construction drawings, layouts, and material requirements clearly on site. Set out accurate lines, levels, and reference points to ensure precision. Monitor and influence progress on site to achieve programme deadlines. Build effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues. Support the team in maintaining Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards. Stay informed of industry best practices and share knowledge with colleagues. Comply with Integrated Management Systems, including company policies and procedures. Carry out additional responsibilities appropriate to the role. What We\'re Looking For Degree or equivalent in Construction Engineering and Management (or a related discipline). Minimum of 2 years\' post-graduate experience, ideally within residential builds. Strong numeracy skills and IT proficiency (Microsoft Office packages). Valid UK driving licence and relevant site cards. Ability to work to deadlines and motivate teams to achieve targets. Self-motivated with a proactive approach, capable of taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
