They are currently seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join their Production Team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring all scaffolding operations across multiple developments are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Role Overview
You will oversee scaffolding activities across several live sites. You’ll manage both direct and subcontracted scaffolders, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and work closely with site teams to support the smooth progression of construction programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise scaffolding teams across multiple developments
- Plan and manage scaffold installations, maintenance, and dismantling
- Interpret scaffold design drawings and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
- Deliver toolbox talks and provide training and mentoring to scaffolders and apprentices
- Coordinate scaffolding activities with broader site construction schedules
- Monitor scaffold materials and equipment, ensuring availability and upkeep
- Maintain clear communication with site teams, the Production Director, and Health & Safety personnel
- Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a scaffolding supervisory role within residential construction
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Valid scaffolding qualification
- In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety legislation, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret scaffold design drawings and compliance documentation
- Aware of occupational health considerations
- Physically capable of working on-site and handling equipment
- Full UK Driving License
