Plasterer (Damp & Mould Team) Location: North Tyneside Council, NE12 6QQ Salary: £17.50 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Van Provided Role: Ongoing About the Role: North Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our Damp & Mould Team. In this role, you will be responsible for tackling damp and mould issues across council properties, carrying out full skims, dot and dab, and general plastering works to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real difference in maintaining and improving homes for residents in North Tyneside. Key Responsibilities: Carry out full skim plastering to rectify damp and mould issues. Perform dot and dab work, ensuring high-quality finishes. Assess and repair affected walls and surfaces efficiently. Work independently or as part of a team to complete scheduled works. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent qualification). Full UK Driving Licence (van provided). Asbestos Awareness Certificate (valid and up to date). Manual Handling Training Certificate. Experience in plastering, damp-proofing, and remedial works. Ability to work professionally in occupied and void properties. CSCS (ideal but not essential) What We Offer: Competitive rate of £17.50 per hour. 37-hour working week.
