We\’re currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable Dundee based student accommodation for an experienced part time maintenance caretaker to join their maintenance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dependable handyperson to secure short term, park time work for a great company
Location: Dundee, DD2 Start Date: 15th October Hours: Wednesday (half day) Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week) Duration: Temporary 2 week role, could be extended Pay Rate: 14.50-15.00 per hour, umbrella
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general repairs (e.g. doors, hinges, handles)
- Replacing lightbulbs and minor electrical work
- Basic plumbing and painting touch-ups
- Resealing baths and showers
- Conducting weekly building checks and recording findings
- Keeping communal areas tidy, safe, and in good condition
- Reporting any serious maintenance or safety issues to management
What We\’re Looking For
- Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, or caretaking roles
- Comfortable performing regular compliance and safety checks
- Good basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload
- Health & Safety awareness and attention to detail
