Our client is extremely busy with a long pipeline of work moving forwards, and they are looking for a Civil Engineering Technician and Senior Civil Engineering Technician to support the business in the delivery of their projects. The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience working in a consultancy or similar environment supporting civil engineering design delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Civil 3D, with experience producing detailed engineering drawings and models.
- Experience using drainage design software such as Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage (or a willingness to develop these skills).
- An understanding of highways and drainage design principles, including SuDS and development infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the UK planning and technical approval process, including S104, S38, and S278 agreements (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, accurate work.
- Organisational skills to manage your own workload across multiple projects, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Confidence in communicating within a team environment and ability to follow and interpret technical guidance.
- A commitment to self-led professional development.
- Collaboration as a team player to support the wider team.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
