I am looking for a Joiner to work on behalf of the council in the Darlington area. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of 2nd fix maintenance in a busy responsive repairs environment. This will include laying flooring, replacing skirting and architraves, hanging doors and boxing in pipes as well as other associated 2nd fix maintenance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- £18 P/H
- Long run of work
- Van provided for work purposes only.
Work Schedule:
- Reactive repairs in domestic properties to a high standard.
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Complete 2nd fix maintenance tasks and deliver work to a high standard in a responsive repairs environment.
Qualifications:
- City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery.
- Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience.
