I am looking for a Joiner to work on behalf of the council in the Darlington area. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of 2nd fix maintenance in a busy responsive repairs environment. This will include laying flooring, replacing skirting and architraves, hanging doors and boxing in pipes as well as other associated 2nd fix maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • £18 P/H
  • Long run of work
  • Van provided for work purposes only.

Work Schedule:

  • Reactive repairs in domestic properties to a high standard.
  • 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete 2nd fix maintenance tasks and deliver work to a high standard in a responsive repairs environment.

Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery.
  • Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience.
