The Opportunity Our client is a busy and growing business operating within the retail and commercial installation sector, with plenty of work already secured and a strong pipeline of projects ahead. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner / Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson looking for long-term job security, good earning potential and regular work. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality joinery, fitting and installation work across a variety of retail and commercial projects. The Role Carrying out joinery, fitting and installation work to a high standard. Installing fixtures, fittings, furniture and bespoke elements. Working from drawings, plans and specifications. Ensuring projects are completed accurately and within agreed timescales. Working independently and as part of an installation team. Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. Resolving any fitting or installation issues on site. Working safely and following site requirements. Representing the client professionally when working on customer sites. Travelling to various sites as required.About You Previous experience as a Joiner, Fitter, Shopfitter or similar. Strong practical and carpentry/joinery skills. Experience working on-site and completing installations. The ability to read and work from drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship. A professional and reliable approach. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel to different sites. Relevant qualifications are advantageous, although proven experience and practical ability are the key requirements.Package & Benefits Salary increasing to £45,000 after successful completion of probation Overtime paid when required 40 hours per week Business mileage covered Company van provided 28 days' holiday Permanent position Plenty of work secured and a strong pipeline ahead
