Joiner - Social Housing Maintenance (Kitchen & Bathroom upgrades)

Location: Darlington

Rate: £18 per hour (CIS Available)

Contract: Long-term

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00AM - 16:00PM

Benefits: Company van provided (work use only)

We are currently recruiting an experienced Joiner to work on behalf of the council in the Darlington area. This is a long-term opportunity within a busy responsive repairs environment, carrying out high-quality 2nd fix maintenance in domestic properties.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carrying out reactive maintenance repairs in occupied homes
  • Completing all aspects of 2nd fix joinery, including:
  • Hanging and adjusting doors
  • Replacing skirting boards and architraves
  • Laying flooring
  • Boxing in pipework
  • Other associated joinery maintenance tasks i.e. bathroom and kitchen upgrades
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with council requirements
  • Delivering a professional and customer-focused service to tenants
