HGV Class 2 Driver - Mechanical Brush Lorry / RORO & Refuse Lorry £18.00 per hour via Umbrella | 37 hours per week | Temporary, Ongoing We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy local authority team on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role will primarily involve driving a mechanical brush lorry, helping to maintain roads and public areas. You may also operate RORO skip lorries and other HGV vehicles. Key duties: Drive and operate HGV and specialist vehicles safely Operate mechanical brush / road sweeper vehicles Operate RORO skip lorries when required Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects Follow health and safety proceduresEssential requirements: HGV Class 2 / Category C licence Previous HGV driving experience Valid Driver CPC Tachograph experience Reliable and professional approach Good understanding of vehicle safety checksPrevious experience with mechanical brush vehicles, RORO, highways, waste or local authority work is desirable.
