Role: Site Manager
Location: Hull
Rate: £250 - £270 per day
We're recruiting for a well-established shopfitting and commercial fit out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail refurbishments and interior fit out projects across the UK. Due to a new project in Hull, they're looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced fit out from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role. They're looking for someone who's happy to manage the site but also isn't afraid to jump on the tools when needed to help keep the project on programme.
The Role
- Managing the day-to-day running of a commercial fit out project in Hull.
- Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Liaising with the Contracts Manager, client and suppliers.
- Completing site paperwork, inductions and health & safety documentation.
- Helping out on the tools when required to keep the programme on track.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing shopfitting, retail or commercial fit out projects.
- A joinery background would be highly advantageous.
- Hands-on approach and willing to muck in when needed.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
