We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a commercial refurbishment and rebuild project in Harlow. The project involves the refurbishment and partial new build of a large commercial/industrial shed following significant fire damage. This is a fast-paced project with a programme duration of approximately 24 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
- Managing programme and ensuring works are delivered on time
- Maintaining high health & safety standards throughout the project
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and senior management
- Overseeing refurbishment, structural, and new build elements
- Managing site paperwork, RAMS, inductions, permits, and progress reporting
- Quality control and snagging management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects
- Experience delivering refurbishment and new build works
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS required
- Fire-damaged/refurbishment experience beneficial but not essential
