Are you an experienced Multi Trader looking for a permanent role? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading national property maintenance contractor for skilled Multi Trade Operatives professionals to join a long-term social housing contract covering Guildford and the surrounding areas.
As a Multi Trader Operative, you'll carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied residential properties, ensuring homes remain safe, well maintained and compliant. You'll receive your work through a PDA, work independently across your designated area and deliver an outstanding service to residents.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out high-quality plastering repairs
- Complete basic plumbing repairs and minor installations
- Undertake basic carpentry and joinery repairs
- Perform a variety of general maintenance and multi-trade works
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Deliver excellent customer service within occupied homes
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety and quality standards
- Accurately update jobs using a PDA system
- Experience working as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing, repairs or property maintenance
- Strong plastering skills (NVQ Level 2 preferred)
- Good knowledge of plumbing and carpentry
- Experience working in tenanted properties
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Confident using handheld PDA devices
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Up to £40,660 depending on experience
