Think Recruitment are working with a progressive and technology-driven civil engineering consultancy known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and development projects across the UK. With a strong focus on collaboration, sustainability, and innovation, they are expanding their team and looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join them.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical leadership and delivery of infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and public sectors, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines and acting as a key technical contact for clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking autonomy, flexibility, and career growth in a remote based role, with key responsibilities including:
- Leading the design and coordination of civil engineering projects, including drainage, highways, and earthworks.
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Liaising effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., SuDS, DMRB, Building Regs).
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will hold a BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or related field, have experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, a strong working knowledge of UK infrastructure design standards and approval processes and be proficient in design software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage etc.
