Overview: We're currently looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to join a leading social housing contractor, working across North London. This role involves carrying out fire door remedials, new installations, and maintenance works within occupied and void properties.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Installing and repairing fire doors to current safety standards
  • Carrying out fire door inspections, adjustments, and remedial works
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and within agreed timeframes
  • Working across various social housing properties as part of a mobile team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with fire door installations and remedials
  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent (preferred)
  • Own tools and transport
  • Good understanding of social housing environments and working in occupied properties
