Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + £4,200 Car Allowance + Mileage + Package

The company specializes in commercial and domestic repairs, holds maintenance contracts with housing associations, pub groups, and other commercial clients, and undertakes larger refurbishment projects. Their order book is robust with long-term relationships and contracts.

About the Role and Candidate

They are seeking a full-time Small Works Estimator reporting to the Estimating Director. The ideal candidate will have a trade background, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and preferably have experience with schedules of rates. The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have good attention to detail. Previous relevant experience is required.

Responsibilities

1. Visit properties in and around the Midlands to prepare estimates based on client information.
2. Liaise with clients regarding works as needed.
3. Obtain quotes from subcontractors.
4. Prepare and present quotes to clients.
